Aims and scopes

The ICZ 2021 aims to bring together academicians, scientists, researchers, research scholars, students, experts and policy makers to share and discuss latest innovation on all aspects the biodiversity and ecosystem services; and species and planetary health in the context of the global change. This interdisciplinary platform provides opportunity to share practical challenges encountered and solutions adopted in the faunal research and management. It will also provide an opportunity to the participants to network, to collaborate and to develop innovative ideas in the research.

Major themes of the conference

Under the main theme “Himalayan Biodiversity in the Face of Global Change” and incorporating all aspects of Zoology, this conference is dedicated to understanding and managing biodiversity in the era of global change. Taxonomy, genetic, species and ecological diversity, endangered species, ecology, ecosystem services, impacts of climate change on health, species and ecosystem, human- wildlife conflicts, biodiversity conservation: integrating science and policy, anthropogenic impacts, sustainable development, etc. are important areas of deliberations. The deliberations will be organized around the following general themes but are not limited to:

3. One Health: Species and Planetary Health
